INFO Easy IP App Update

The new Easy IP app is expected to be available for download from the Appstore & Playstore in mid-June 2020.

- This will then also support the WIFI configuration under Android 9 and iOS13 and higher.

- The WIFI configuration will differ slightly from the previous one and therefore also from the enclosed instructions. There will also be an update here in the FAQ.

- Uninstall the app before updating the Easy IP app, because you have to uninstall the Easy IP app either way.

- After installing the new app, it is possible that your installed cameras have not been adopted. This is because the previous Easy IP app was not further developed but a new basis was created.
-> Means for you: You have to add the cameras to the app again, but this is possible without a new Wifi configuration, provided the cameras are currently connected to the WIFI router. Simply press the "PLUS" and select "Cameras already connected to WLAN". Then a list is displayed from which you can add the cameras in your network by entering the corresponding camera password you have assigned.

How do I connect a camera to the WiFi? - Easy IP app from 06-2020

To install the TX-57/58 camera on your smartphone, please go through the following steps:

First of all, plug the TX-57 into the socket. It is best to reset afterwards. You can do this by pressing a paper clip into the small hole next to the memory card compartment - important the camera must be supplied with power during this! Use the paper clip to hold the button in the hole until the LEDs on the front go out. Now wait until the green LED flashes quickly to continue.

1. Download the "Easy IP" app
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.technaxx.easyip&hl=de
iOS: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/easy-ip-technaxx/id1160657912

2. After the app has been downloaded and installed successfully, go to the WLAN settings of your smartphone. Connect to the "CamAP" WLAN there. Wait until the WLAN symbol can be seen again at the top of the screen.
If a message appears that this network has no connection to the Internet and asks you whether you still want to stay connected, confirm this with YES.

3. Start the Easy IP app

4. Press the orange plus at the bottom of the screen.

5. Select "Configure camera WLAN". The app now connects to the camera via WiFi. So stay close to the camera to successfully complete the configuration.

6. In the next step you have to enter the camera password 888888 (6x8). You can also assign any camera name and click Save (top right, check mark).

7. Now you are asked whether you want to connect the camera to the router, confirm with YES.

8. Select your WLAN router from the list and enter the WLAN key from your router under Password.

9. Click on "Connect".

10. Now wait while the camera takes over the settings of your WLAN. If this was successful, the green LED on the camera now lights up permanently.

11. To call the camera live image, click on the newly added camera. And then on the Play Butten in the middle.
If an image is not immediately displayed, repeat clicking the camera symbol 2-3 times or wait approx. 1 minute before clicking it again.

12. You will be asked to replace the old password because the default password is not secure. Press "Now". Enter 888888 (6x8) under "Old password". Think of a new password consisting of 8-12 numbers and letters and enter it again under "Confirm password".

13. Confirm all further inquiries with Ok or Yes.
